Je kopeasyo sa sam징 haran za shan potgas kan 호 Kik señal naomka naso...today, engei. Hello, everyone. I'm back with the Tomb of Stars Podcast. It's me, your best friend, over. And I'm here again this week. Last week, we did not drop any episodes based on one or two color polo. There was a couple of reasons, but some of the reason was because of the general election. I felt like we had a lot more serious issues to deal with. I know I was paying attention to musical or anything. No one had time for music or whatever. So I felt we should skip the episode last week and we're back this week. I know you might have missed me. This is like 1 a.m. on Tuesday. I'll be on Wednesday, rather. So I'm recording this episode, like literally six hours before it drops. I'm recording the midnight now. We are all aware of everything that's been going on with Afrobeats' latest news. No, I don't think anyone is oblivious to every news scene that's been happening with Afrobeats. Many of our artists are really making us proud. Oh my God, Afrobeats is really getting a lot of ground. And everyone wants to invest. Everyone wants to enter Afrobeats right now. So like Afrobeats is the odd kick, presently. Like Afrobeats is just like that very fine game in your class that every guy is trying to date. So I thought about something like in the next 10 years, what would be the like what would be the situation of Afrobeats in the next 10 years? I think it would be a lot better or we're going to go back to where we came from or even farther back. So I talked to some of my friends and asked them for the opinion like what do they think Afrobeats would have accomplished in the next 10 years? They sent me some pretty interesting responses and I'm going to be playing that today. So the first person that I replied is I don't think I'm supposed to mention their names. Their names are not necessary. I don't know even sure they would want me to mention their names so I'm just going to leave it out. So the first person sent this. Oh my God, in the next 10 years, Afrobeats become so obsessed with Israel. But let's talk about that. It's very much. And look like very much before. But that very much is unique. A more percent of my body could be in the next 10 years. That guy, that can't be done. Or not a real Afrobeats. In the next few 3 years, going to be a real Afrobeats. So basically, I think what the guy is trying to say is that in the next 10 years, I think that the Afrobeats would be one of the main people, even though it's the biggest in Afrobeats. Like, the Afrobeats would be the Jesus Christ of Afrobeats. I'm not sure if I'm saying it right. But I think that's very much his opinion. So I'm not sure how I feel about that. I mean, the Rema is doing very, very well. But like it is not the only one that's important right now. There would have been a lot of potential to vote. I'm going to play another one right now. Afrobeats is far gone already. I would have very, very far gone. And you can be a me witness. I was strong in the realities. Just to present there. So big word at least. What's that? Not just not see what is to what's that. Not just football. Both Ronaldo and Neymar. Post-era and Instagram story. Jamina for Beats. I don't know if you saw that post. So that's a lot of shows. A lot of efforts. Our artists are showing to the world. And the strength of Afrobeats globally. You see that three of our Afrobeats pop stars where they sound song for the same Wakanda movie. So I'm just focusing to focusing on the name of this man. My ties in the world is named so. He was listening to jamming the luxury song in his house. So you can see the way our music is going far far beyond. Another thing. Afrobeats is gaining the recognition. It decides. And viewing it from inside in the next 10 years. I think Afrobeats will take over all of the legends of music. You see that if Afrobeats continues its virality with the help of apps like TikTok, you know. Any music, any strong latest music that comes out. People already jamming it on TikTok. Pushing it to the world out there. So everybody's just going with the vibe. So, so, I'm putting a lot of fog on already. So, Afropops, icons like. Badu, DVDo, whiskey and everything. All of them like that. I think in the next 10 years, they are still just the chilling. So I think we're born as still as a long way to go. We're born as still as a long way to go. Because we still are thinking as it's in him. So, this set of people in the next 10 years, their career will just be chilling looking. The way this man don't just, the way it's just. It's in his own cool money now. If he does all their career will be in the next 10 years. So, the other day, the likes of Ira, Black Shari and the rest, CK. CK is even like, global, CK is not performing in Nigeria again. You know, you're following the data correctly. It's just throwing the word on the desk on one thing that I released. And that's on the playlist. So, it's been performing globally. Following the likes of Bonat, Bonaris performing globally too. So, these people, I think, till in the next 10 years, they will be the ones to represent the icons that we have in the music industry currently. What should I even comment on first? Because this guy is just listening to the new on the edge. After we've done this, it's really gone so far. I also saw another story. A few days ago, where I posted, maybe you can't know. Like, it's two kids were dancing or something. And they played this song. And it's really very beautiful to see. She even, during one of the World Cups, they were playing a remastered song in the stadium. They were playing, I think, a star, fire boy. They played all their songs. And like this guy said, Wakanda, the latest Wakanda movie Wakanda Forever. The soundtrack album, that likes of Badu. They do this with Bernaboy. Like, those ones, they just sit back and be enjoying. They don't, they don't, they sit back already. For example, now, he said after this is our way on drop. I think it's retiring after that one. Like, he can't just withdraw his fingers once in a blue moon. But like, for the most part, he's out. So I always want to manage record living. And I think that's very good. But Bernaboy is not retiring anytime soon. Bernaboy is not the kind of person that would retire. I think he would want to push to, he can't push anymore. So I don't think that I would want to retire and start record living. No, I think he would still keep pushing out records. I still pushing world recognition and everything like that. So I think that's the kind of version Bernaboy is. He still has that, he's still fully loaded. So keep going. And this guy says something about CK that CK is a big star too. And I know it's CK. But like, let's just face the facts. Apart from love, what is it? Which other song does CK have that he can perform at any show? If he goes to any show, if he doesn't perform love, what is it? If he performs any of his other songs, no one would sing along with him. Because he don't know it. I don't think it's the guy who comes on. I think it needs another odd song that everybody would like. Love, fantasy would go. So no, a little. And what's going to be left? Bonds should be noted. I don't know it's CK. I'm actually a big fan of it. Even I like my new songs. But I'm just saying a lot of people don't really know these other songs. Even we release an album now. Sad romance that nobody knows about. But I like his songs. Felony, what are we? All this stuff. I like them. I'm going to be playing the last two voice notes now. They're the same person actually. All these big artists here. You know, music is very, very hard to be consistent in it. When you are making music, you have to be very consistent. I think all these big artists, why we are calling them big artists, that they've been very, very consistent. We are talking about the likes of a lamb, the boner boy, with kids, the tubaba, all of them. So consistency is part of what makes them big artists. I think in the next 10 years, the likes of the now big artists, the next 10 years, I think there will be another generation of artists because now, obviously, when you look at whiskey, obviously, quality is now reducing. Even his fanbase knows it that he's not making good music like before. Even a lamb, the barbou is not really making good music. Boner boy, same thing. You can't compare his current album to his previous albums, like the quality has been reducing. So I think in the next 10 years, we should be looking forward to a new set of artists to take over from these artists. So I think these artists, their career is already coming to an end. Where is the tubaba now? The tubaba is just trying to manage his career. The common cinema, it gives us one burger, then go back in. I think that's what the likes of whiskey to be doing in the next 10 years. Because it gives us one good music, but go back in the head. It's tough to add that. But I don't think we are going to be seeing much of those artists in the next 10 years. So I think we've seen more of a new set of artists. I don't know all these new artists. Now I don't know. I don't know which of them that we've seen in the next 10 years. Maybe I lost time, maybe a rema, maybe Buju, I don't know. But the likes of Buona, whiskey, they are already coming to an end. Yeah, for this one I just said about the end of the 10 years. In the next 10 years, they would have come down a lot. They would just be chopping their investments. I think I agree with that. I don't know what they are saying. I said that it's retiring after it's coming out. So yeah, I agree. But me, I don't want to believe that I'm going to be doing this. Yeah, sure. You can't compare his new release with a long, long time ago. Yeah, the energy that also was still in those ones. What I'm doing now is just flexing. So I would say I still believe that the songs are still very good. They are just evolved. And for whiskey too, I'm not a whiskey fan. I think his music is still good. Yes, it's different from whiskey of 20s, even 27s since then. Yeah, it's different from whiskey then. But still, it's still giving us good songs. They are not the same kind of song, but they are equally good. Now, the songs are not so good to you. The songs might be bad to you. So I think they are equally good. They are just different kinds of, let me say style. So I believe whiskey is still good. And for the second version before we end up, Afrobeat is in the next 10 years or more. Afrobeat has been changing over the years. The style of music. Now, you can see people, for example, our artists in Nigeria are now using more of a piano to the beat. So I think in the next 10 years we'll be seeing something, some changes in Afrobeat. And I think Afrobeat is now going global. Even now, this currently Afrobeat is going global. You cannot be comparing Afrobeat of Tuesdays, of Tuesdays, of like 10 years back. Afrobeat's 10 years ago is not seen as Afrobeat's now. Afrobeat's 10 years ago, you... The Nigerian artists are not even when they are talking about Grammys. The Nigerian artists are not even in the discussion. But now, these look at Grammys. The Nigerian artists are even literally every year now. For the last 34 years, they've been nominated in Nigerian artists. And they have like, eye chance for winning it. So I think in the next 10 years, we're going to be seeing something better from Afrobeat too. Nigerian artists will be getting more nominations in the global awards. And Afrobeat is going to be more globally accepted. I agree with that truth. That in the next 10 years Afrobeat will be a lot more of a big deal. Even Grammy, I thought it was actually going to be in effect this year. For the just concluded Grammys. But I think it will take effect for the next Grammys. So they say they are creating an Afrobeat's category. So like, instead of all these stupid global music awards that are used to nominate us in every 14 years, it's going to be an Afrobeat's dedicated category. You know, like they have for rock, for electronic music, for pop, for ETC. They're going to be a category for Afrobeat as well, which is common. It's a very big deal. So I'm very happy for that and I'm looking forward to it. So yeah, that was all of the response that I could get because I actually sent the message to them these nights. Well, I will say last night. So I'm very happy I could even get these much messages. So yeah, you guys can leave your comments and let me know what way Afrobeat would be in the next 10 years.
